Meet Emily

Named after my treetop neighborhood in gorgeous Topanga Canyon, Fernwood Vintage harkens back to canyon life in its 60s/70s heyday – it’s equal parts Indian cotton, ethnic caftan, fringe, fur, rock n roll glam wear and deco kimonos, 30s slips, tailored classics. The collection is very much a reflection of my personal style: city mouse and country mouse, right brain and left brain, monochromatic and technicolor. Because we live in Los Angeles, I often have access to closets of longtime entertainment industry folks, and love finding garments with some Hollywood history. My stylist friends have called it a 'boho gypsy Laurel Canyon vibe with elevated elegance'. Like many before me, I've collected for many lifetimes, and it's a true passion. I am beyond grateful to share it with you.
